Scope : The Classical Papers has a reputation for publishing the highest quality classical scholarship for nearly 30 years. Classical Papers covers a broad range of topics. It publishes research papers and short notes in the fields of language, literature, and philosophy. Papers on art history and archaeology are also published. Classical Papers welcomes both longer articles and short notes or discussions that make a significant contribution to the study of Greek and Roman antiquity. One substantial issue (around 300 pages) of the Classical Papers appear each year, in December.
